Renowned director Syamaparasd is all set with Arike to tell the story of World's last lover, played by Dileep. The film is inspired from the Bengali short story written by Sunil Gangopadhyay. Mamta Mohandas and Samvrutha Sunil will be the heroines.Film also stars Prakash bare, Biju Menon , Urmila Unni in the lead.
Arike deals with emotional attachments which are very close to us and complexities of our relations. We all have some myths and boundaries about love, however those boundaries will not stop us from fall in love. Will that love give us any happiness? That will be the question director Syamaprasad trying to ask with Arike. And Vineeth will play a special cameo in Arike.

The film used live sound recording and it was handled by Sohail Sanwari, T K Suresh Kumar will produce the movie under the banner of Picture Perfect Company. While Azhagappan handling the cinematography, music is from the veteran Ousappachan.
