Thuppakki (Tamil: துப்பாக்கி; English: Gun) is an upcoming Tamil action thriller film written and directed by A. R. Murugadoss, which will star Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal. Vijay will be playing as an encounter specialist in the film, featuring background score and soundtrack composed by Harris Jayaraj and cinematography handled by Santhosh Sivan, is scheduled for a mid-2012 release.
