Kumki is an upcoming Indian Tamil film to be directed by Prabu Solomon, starring Vikram Prabhu, son of actor Prabhu Ganesan, in his feature film debut. The story revolves around kumki elephants, with Vikram portraying a mahout. A joint production by UTV Motion Pictures and Thirupathi Brothers, the film rejoins the crew that worked on Solomon's successful Mynaa (2010). Kumki was launched in July 2011 and is scheduled for a early 2012 release.
